No white before Memorial Day? As the weather gets warmer, I find that I’m tossing that old myth out the window. I don’t know who needs to hear this, but yes, it’s acceptable to wear white before memorial (and after Labor Day)!
Before it gets toooo warm, I put together some of my favorite outfits to wear during this transitional time.
First, I need to comment how incredibly soft these white pants are! They’re exactly the fit I wanted. Not skin tight, straight leg, no distressing – it does have a raw hem which I actually love! These white denim just look so versatile – can be worn dressed up or down! Of course they’re already in the wash because there’s a spot of something on them, go figure.. haha…

White pants with cropped sweater
I’ve had this sweater since last year and ran out of time to wear it before summer! I finally cut the tags off this year, hah! So, of course, this exact sweater is no longer available. But the one I linked about is on sale 🙂
I love the mint green + crisp white combo. The flats keep this casual but I thought about dressing this outfit up with nude heels and some drop earrings! I wore this for a family dinner in our backyard so I kept the look comfortable and casual.

White Pants with Floral Bodysuit
This floral bodysuit is perfect for Spring! The pastel colors are so complimentary of each other. I’ve also worn it with jeans and a lacy bralette to keep it casual. The v neck bodysuit is shown online without anything underneath so I was surprised how open it is! I don’t know who would be that bold to wear it like that… maybe some fashion tape or something..but not for me!
Anyway, my shoes are from the J.Lo x DSW collaboration! She launched a line with DSW in March of 2020 – literally right before the pandemic began so I’m happy to see that she’s still adding new designs to her collection a year later. This is the first pair I’ve purchased from her line. I’ve thought that most of her shoes are too flashy, like only she could wear them. So I was surprised how normal these are! They’re a brown snakeskin with gold threads that really pop when you wear these. They are more beautiful in person than on the website. The block heel makes them comfortable, too. I got my normal size 8.

White Pants with Off-the-Shoulder Top
This one is probably my favorite look. To be honest, I bought these high waisted white pants to wear with this particular shirt. I didn’t love this top with high waisted jeans and my only white pants were mid rise. Turns out I love these white pants more than my old (Abercrombie) pair.
The floral detail on this top is so beautiful. This is one of my favorite brands and when I saw this shirt online, I thought it was so feminine, but I wasn’t sure what the exact print looked like, even though the description said floral. I was shocked when I opened it to find the most dainty feminine floral print. It’s pretty dressy – like I don’t see myself pairing this top with anything other than heels. But that’s okay with me! It’s versatile because I could see myself wearing this to brunch or to happy hour. It’s also 100% off the shoulder. Sometimes you can get away with wearing sleeves on or off the shoulder. Not with this top… There’s also boning in the bodice which keeps the shirt pretty stiff. I didn’t wear this top long enough, but I think that will help keep the top tucked into my jeans.
I was influenced myself to buy these wedges. I found them on sale at ShopBop and glad I didn’t pay full price because although they’re beautiful, not the most comfortable. Hoping that changes with time and breaking them in. I’ll have to wear them more to find out and I’ll update my comment when I know more.. lol
It’s going to be hitting 90 degrees here this weekend so we plan to bust out the minnidip and splash pad for Baby! Hope you’re experiencing some warm weather wherever you’re reading from! xoxo
