Recent Sephora Haul

I placed a recent Sephora order because I needed to stock up on a few products. The first item added to my cart were the Isle of Paradise self tanning drops – these tanning drops saved me last summer! I had a newborn and knew that I wouldn’t be out in the sun – not to mention our vacation and and other summer plans were canceled but, in hindsight it might have been the best thing to happen to a new family! Anyway, I love the scent of these tanning drops, they’re so easy to use – mix with moisturizer and apply the night before or in the morning and voila – natural bronze glow! I use the dark drops on my body and the medium drops on my face.

Vital Protein Collagen – another holy grail! I mix one scoop of collagen with my coffee in the mornings. It dissolves quickly and doesn’t add any other flavor to my coffee. I started using this product in my 4th month of post partum – you know, when you start losing chunks of hair 🙁 I wish I would have known about collagen sooner – it’s even pregnancy safe and helps with hair, skin, nails, and joints! I feel like this product really helped with hair regrowth – the two times I’ve been to the salon, my stylist has complimented my length, texture, and regrowth! So I’d like to thank the collagen!

Tarte Maracuja Juicy Lip – I ordered these because I like having a product that will hydrate my lips during the day. I also didn’t want something with color because I don’t wear a lot of makeup during the day. I ordered the coconut and it smells great and keeps my lips plumped and hydrated.

7 day makeup eraser set – I typically use makeup wipes to remove stubborn eye makeup but I’d love to eliminate that type of waste and find something reusable that’s also going to be good for my skin. You can also use these pads to apply toner. I am loving how easy it is to remove makeup with these cloths – all you need is water! The warmer water the better – just hold it on my eye for a few seconds so the fibers lift my mascara. Again, I haven’t been wearing a lot of makeup but, when I do, I forget how annoying it is to take off eye makeup. Then I wash my face and pat it dry on my white towel. I’ve definitely been able to tell a difference by seeing what my towel looks like lol!

Laneige Lavender Water Sleep Mask – the directions say to use 1-2 times per week and wash off in the morning. I’ve been applying this on Friday nights because a) who doesn’t want to start their weekends with hydrated and plump skin and b) the lavender scent is so nice and calming it makes me believe I’m getting a good night sleep. No alarm clocks on Saturday so I try my best to sleep in until the baby wakes me up!

Inkey List Hyalauronic Acid Hydrating Serum – I use both morning and night as the first step after my cleanser to hydrate different layers of skin. The bottle is pretty small but all you need is a pea size to pat onto your face and neck. I’ve been loving the Inkey List products. They’re vegan, clean, and make my skin feel really good! I haven’t had any reactions to their products and am definitely seeing a difference in the appearance of my skin.

Inkey List Polyglutamic Acid – This is the last step of my skincare routine morning and night. This is a hydrating serum that plumps brightens and evens skin tone and reduces the appearance of fine lines. It’s also a great makeup base/primer.

Urban Decay Hydromaniac Glowy Tinted Hydrator Foundation – I love throwing this on in the mornings. It’s a thin foundation with all the benefits: coverage, visibly brighter skin, and improved skin hydration. This is perfect for those days I need to turn my camera on for a conference call! I’m in the color Light Medium Neutral.

Charlotte Tilbury Hot Lips Super Cindy – This is a muted nude (matte lipstick) but it’s a very pretty color. Again, I don’t wear a lot of makeup during the week, but when I have to use my camera and throw on a little makeup, adding a nude lipstick completes my look without making me feel like my lip color is too bold. I still look and feel very natural but it boosts my confidence knowing I have some makeup on lol!
